Another challenge in this project was to create a custom wine cellar that could store all the bottles in this collection in standard racking. In fact, the size of these openings is able to hold any wine bottle in the market from the standard sized to the 3L to 6L types. The client expressed how she was glad that the bottles that she would normally keep in the champagne area can now be stored in standard wine bottle racking.

Maximized Space - Double Storage Feature In one of the wine cellar walls, Coastal incorporated a double storage feature. In this feature, the client had increased wine storage without taking up extra square footage. She was able to put in one wine bottle in a rack and then add another sliding the first into the back. This dealt with the problem about limited space.

High Reveal Display Row Feature Coastal also included a high reveal display row feature on the wine cellar which tilted the wine bottles on a 15 degree angle at 40 inches above the floor. Through this row, the client was able to store like wines above and below the display area. This custom feature allowed the client to showcase her best wine bottle labels while added character the whole room.

Beautiful and Inexpensive Lighting The lighting on the wine cellar was undeniably beautiful It created a classy ambiance to the whole cellar room. Coastal used Light-emitting diode (LED) rope lights on the display row to give the cellar a warm and inviting feature. What's more, this type of lighting is very budget friendly because its power consumption is minimal.
